Business Policies and Procedures

It is my intention to provide clients with a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic massage experience. The following list of policies and procedures are for first-time and returning guests and will assist you in receiving the most out of your session.

Arrival

Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for a relaxed, unrushed session. This will allow you time to fill out the client medical history form and to get situated for your massage.

If you are running late, please take your time and arrive safely. I will do my best to accommodate, however your session may have to be shortened to remain on schedule.

Appointment Modification and Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is time reserved only for you. Should you need to cancel or modify your appointment, please respect my work by giving 48 hour notice so I can fill the time with another client. No-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hrs may result in a termination of our work together and an invoice charge of 50% of service.

Informed Consent

Before each session, we will discuss and collaborate on a plan of treatment for your session. If you think we need a change of plans, let me know and we'll come up with the appropiate session for you! At any point during your session, let me know if there is anything I can do to make you more comfortable.

Respect for Client and Massage Therapist Needs and Boundaries

I take great care to make your experience as comfortable as possible. As my client, I encourage you to take part in your treatment and will happily adjust pressure, room temperature, music, and areas of focus.

You are encouraged to undress to your level of comfort and will be modestly draped throughout the entire treatment. You may choose to refuse any massage techniques, or all together stop massage treatment. If anything makes you uncomfortable, please let me know! Your comfort and safety is my highest priority.

Sexual advances or conversation is not tolerated and never appropriate. Your session will be terminated immediately if that boundary is crossed.

Confidentiality

All client information is considered confidential.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is your responsibility to keep me up to date with your medical conditions and inform me of any changes. Some conditions require further authorization. I enforce this policy for your health and safety.
